Rs Flip Flop Schaltung. It has two inputs one is called set which will set the device output 1 and is labelled s and another is known as reset which will reset the device output 0 labelled as r. In plc and other programming environments it is required to assign determinate outputs to all conditions of the flip flop.
This is accomplished by a pulse on the other input line. The flip flop is a one bit memory bi stable device. The clock pulse acts as an enable signal for the two inputs.
The rs flip flop consists of basic flip flop circuit along with two additional nand gates and a clock pulse generator.
The theoretically sr and rs flip flops are same. They provide a simple switching function whereby a pulse on one input line of the flip flop sets the circuit in one state. In plc and other programming environments it is required to assign determinate outputs to all conditions of the flip flop. The rs flip flop is considered as one of the most basic sequential logic circuits.
